Qualifications

Education:Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Working Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive system development, with a preference for expertise in eAxle, electric drivetrains, or e-mobility systems. Proven experience in system architecture design, system engineering, or requirement management within automotive projects. Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing customer technical requirements. Knowledge / Skills:Strong technical understanding of eAxle systems and system architecture. Familiarity with requirement management tools, particularly DOORS, and other common engineering tools.

About the job

Responsibilities:

- Lead the architectural design of the eAxle system within the product line, whether for specific projects or overarching platforms.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customer system requests at the program level, including managing interfaces.
- Coordinate customer requirements in both top-down and bottom-up approaches, engaging with internal experts for alignment.
- Analyze customer requirements and break them down into subcomponents, ensuring proper tracking and management.
- Navigate uncertainties and incomplete requirements by developing assumptions into actionable requirements.
- Collaborate with internal experts to support the planning of system work packages regarding content and timelines, while monitoring work progress.
- Establish procedures and methodologies for system verification and validation, adhering to specifications outlined in the SAR list.
- Conduct risk assessments for special releases.
- Facilitate change management by analyzing the impact of both requirement and design changes from a systems perspective.
- Oversee the system architecture, including the definition and description of interfaces.


Scope of Work:
- Integral member of the project team.
- Act as a liaison between projects, program levels, and customers regarding technical issues.


Work Products:
- Requirements documents including customer technical profiles.
- Implementation of requirements in DOORS.
- Confirmation of requirements in DOORS (ASPICE compliance).
- Development of system concepts, assessment, and introduction.
- Technical Concept Document (TCD).
- Interface descriptions within the interface matrix.
- Basic requirements sheets for PS-PE.
