We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering initiatives for groundbreaking surgical robotic products targeting exciting new clinical applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and oversee the comprehensive development of revolutionary surgical robotic systems — from initial concept and prototyping to manufacturing and market launch.Lead and direct development workstreams, ensuring cross-functional team alignment on technical specifications for essential platform subsystems.Collaborate closely with various engineering disciplines (software, electrical, clinical, manufacturing).Make informed decisions based on risk assessments, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct technical design reviews to gather input on design progress and routinely evaluate designs from team members to provide constructive engineering feedback.Develop and maintain SolidWorks CAD databases, encompassing assemblies, components, and detailed drawings.Observe clinical cases and engage in collaborative sessions with clinical experts to shape designs.Support pre-clinical and clinical laboratory activities.
