As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the enterprise-level cloud architecture for the One Data Ecosystem (ODE) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your focus will be on ensuring platform stability, scalability, security, and compliance while facilitating advanced data, analytics, and AI workloads. You will serve as both a technical authority and strategic leader, collaborating closely with Data & Analytics teams, business stakeholders, and international engineering teams to create a forward-thinking, secure, and highly available cloud platform. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity and availability of the ODE_S environment and driving the transition from legacy systems to GCP.

Joining the Finance & B2B domain within the DATA TRIBE, you will contribute to transforming the enterprise data and cloud environment within the One Data Ecosystem (ODE). Our objectives include:
• Migrating and modernizing existing data and platform architectures to GCP
• Establishing standardized, secure, and scalable cloud landing zones
• Empowering data engineering, analytics, and AI teams with robust cloud foundations

Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture & Strategy
- Evaluate the current cloud and data platform architecture, pinpointing risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective enterprise-grade GCP architectures.
- Define cloud strategy, target architecture, and migration roadmaps for ODE workloads.
- Establish cloud landing zones, VPC design, networking, and identity architecture.
- Platform & Infrastructure Design
- Architect and govern GCP infrastructure utilizing services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Dataplex, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI.
- Design and oversee data platforms, data lakes, and analytics architectures.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for compliant, repeatable deployments.
- Define standards for CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
- Security, Governance & Compliance
- Devise and enforce cloud security architecture, covering IAM and other critical components.
