Key Responsibilities:Utilize cutting-edge data science applications to resolve business challenges in optimization for a CPG client. Clearly articulate the analytics approach and its alignment with business objectives to stakeholders. Product Roadmap Development: Formulate, oversee, and convey a strategic roadmap for the pricing and promotion optimization product, ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics. Quarterly Planning: Create and implement quarterly plans that align with product objectives, KPIs, and deadlines. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a cross-functional team of 5-6 members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture. Pricing & Promotion Strategy: Establish and execute an optimization framework for pricing and promotional strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Analytics, to gather requirements and convert them into actionable plans. Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing evaluations of market trends and competitor strategies to pinpoint opportunities and gaps. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure product success and identify areas for growth. Foster collaboration and learning within a team of experienced Data Scientists. Stay connected with industry trends through conferences and community engagement. Support regulatory and investor relations demands by developing innovative solutions using advanced techniques and tools.
