Qualifications
To strengthen our team, we require the following qualifications for our Lead Designer position:A completed HBO Civil Engineering degree;Strong commercial acumen and communication skills, along with knowledge of various contract forms;A minimum of 3 years of relevant leadership experience, preferably with expertise in civil concrete construction and at the intersection of ground, road, and water construction;Willingness to work at different locations, including our office in Capelle aan den IJssel;Proficiency in Dutch (both spoken and written);Residing in the Southern Netherlands region;A hands-on mentality, with an eagerness to engage in design activities. We expect the Lead Designer to be decisive, proactive, ethical, independent, flexible, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate meticulous discipline.

As a Lead Designer, you will be integral to construction teams and active projects. You will collaborate with the Customer & Market Manager of the contractor to develop strategic plans and make informed decisions during the bidding process, ensuring alignment with Unihorn's strategic goals. Additionally, you will be positioned as a key figure within the numerous construction teams we manage, supported by a national team of specialists, including advisors, Civil3D designers, and constructors.
