Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering. Experience:A minimum of 7 years in automotive transmission or e-axle design. Experience leading design teams and managing supplier relationships. Demonstrated success in transmission validation, problem-solving, and change management. Skills:Expertise in gear system design focusing on efficiency, NVH, reliability, and weight optimization. Proficiency in CAD and gearbox layout. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication abilities; must be fluent in English for technical discussions and customer interactions. Preferred:Experience in e-mobility or electrified powertrain projects.

About the job

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding all aspects of gear systems.
- Oversee the design and layout coordination for e-axle gearboxes.
- Ensure that gear system performance targets for efficiency, reliability, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), and weight are met, all while considering cost factors.
- Facilitate technical communication and coordination with transmission suppliers.
- Assist in the validation of transmission specifications, collaborating closely with project management.
- Manage the interfaces related to the transmission scope of delivery for the e-axle system.
- Approve construction deviations and monitor all TR-relevant changes through change management processes.
Scope of Work:
1. Change Management:
- Track and initiate changes through the BTV system.
- Coordinate change management efforts with customers.
- Disseminate relevant information across domains.
- Support the preparation of project offerings.
- Plan implementations and content for project work packages, ensuring alignment with specialized functions and oversee execution.
2. Problem Solving:
- Analyze and address anomalies in the transmission system.
- Communicate issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and implement project corrective measures.
- Validate the effectiveness of implemented measures.
Expected Deliverables:
- Comprehensive list of outstanding requirements.
- Defined work package specifications.
- Technical presentations for customers.
- Documentation related to change management.
- Regular status updates and decision-making documents.
