The Opportunity
Nebius is seeking a skilled Lead Developer for Data Center & IT Tools to enhance our Hardware Infrastructure team. You are invited to join us at our Amsterdam office.
This team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems throughout the data center (DC) lifecycle, including:
- ITDC Terminal (a specialized task tracker for local DC staff)
- Test/Disposal WH stands (for functional testing and decommissioning)
- Logistics & Stocktage tools (for asset intake, inventory, movements, and dispatch)
- DC tools (for maintaining engineering and IT equipment within our DCs)
Your role will involve guiding the architectural direction: shaping systems, defining the roadmap, coordinating with backend development teams, and engaging with stakeholders effectively. While hands-on work is welcomed, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define architectural standards across the portfolio: designs, system boundaries, interfaces, and SLAs.
- Develop and maintain the systems roadmap by prioritizing features, assessing maturity, identifying risks, and setting success metrics.
- Lead the development teams in delivery: managing the backlog, coordinating releases, and making technical decisions.
- Enhance product practices: conducting discovery sessions, gathering requirements, managing RFC/ADR, facilitating design reviews, and ensuring thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including DC operations, logistics/warehouse, testing/repairs, security, and finance.
- Proactively initiate improvements across processes.
