Our expertise allows us to efficiently manage even the most complex projects. Job Summary:We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Electrical Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing point-to-point wire diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for power distribution equipment, including Metal-Clad Switchgear, Metal-Enclosed Switchgear, and Panelboards. Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed reviews of schematic drawings for power distribution products, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear and Switchboards.Develop and review point-to-point wire diagrams.Create and finalize BOMs for electrical design components.Prepare and verify layouts of panels and doors prior to fabrication.Provide point-to-point and to/from wire lists as required for wire harness fabrication.Review and provide constructive feedback on the work of fellow designers.Mentor team members as necessary.Offer technical support to the fabrication shop as needed.Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with shop and field personnel.Coordinate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams as required.Assist the R&D team with wiring-related inquiries.Communicate job status and potential issues to your supervisor.Support the development and maintenance of engineering systems and processes.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:8+ years of experience in point-to-point wiring and electrical design for medium voltage switchgear.Preferred: Associate's Degree in Drafting and/or Graphic Design.Strong knowledge of control circuit wiring and industry standards is required.High familiarity with ANSI, NEC, and UL standards is essential.Proven experience in converting schematic drawings and layouts into comprehensive documentation packages for customers and construction.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
