About the Role
We are searching for a Lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore or Malaysia, contributing to the wider APAC Energy department comprised of over 25 specialists. Your projects will predominantly span Southeast Asia, with potential support for international initiatives through Ramboll’s global centers of excellence.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading EIC workstreams in Owner’s Engineer projects
- Evaluating technical documentation from EPC contractors, OEMs, and technology providers
- Providing technical advisory services to lenders, investors, and asset owners, including due diligence and risk assessments
- Assisting in feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, and technology evaluations
- Supervising electrical and control system scopes during construction, commissioning, and performance testing
- Taking on the role of Lead Engineer for EIC discipline in multidisciplinary projects
Regional Impact
Your contributions will directly address the growing demand for reliable and sustainable energy and waste infrastructure in Southeast Asia. By ensuring safe, efficient, and robust electrical and control systems for Waste-to-Energy, biomass, and energy transition projects, you will play a crucial role in the region’s decarbonization efforts.

Travel and Client Interaction
This position may require travel throughout Southeast Asia for technical reviews, site inspections, FAT/SAT, stakeholder engagements, and client meetings, depending on project requirements.
