Vialis is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer in Electrical Engineering to spearhead complex tunnel installation projects. You will be the key link between technology, safety, and innovation: leading a team of engineers and BIM modelers, ensuring quality, and translating client needs into a cohesive design. Your Responsibilities:

As the Lead Engineer Electrical Engineering for Tunnels at Vialis, you will be central to the design process for intricate tunnel projects. You will ensure that all technical disciplines and the BIM modeling process are perfectly aligned. You will lead a team of engineers and BIM modelers, maintain quality, safety, and budget, and translate client requirements into a structured and contractually compliant design.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Leading engineers and BIM modelers while overseeing the technical accuracy of their work.

  • Establishing and monitoring the design schedule and agile work process (including scrumboard).

  • Translating client specifications into a technical design that adheres to standards and contractual requirements.

  • Organizing and verifying calculations, drawings, and BIM models.

  • Ensuring multidisciplinary coherence and striving for a cost-effective design.

  • Engaging in discussions with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding design aspects.

  • Managing documentation: maintaining version control and consistency of technical product documentation.

  • Reporting progress, deviations, and challenges to the Design Manager or Project Leader.

In Summary: You are the technical leader ensuring our tunnel projects are realized safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
