This pivotal role is designed for a lead-level individual contributor who will work closely with the Head of Engineering to influence how engineering plans, delivers, and operates effectively at scale. Within the Technology & Delivery team, you'll serve as a Chief of Staff-style partner to engineering leadership, translating strategy into actionable plans and fostering clarity in complex initiatives. Your efforts will enhance delivery discipline, streamline operational processes, and eliminate friction, allowing engineering teams to concentrate on developing exceptional software.
Positioned at the heart of engineering decision-making, you will assist Engineering Managers by identifying risks and dependencies early on, ensuring progress and impact are transparent across the organization. This role is perfect for someone who excels in uncertain environments, builds trust through technical expertise, and aims to drive outcomes collaboratively rather than through authority.
How you will make an impact- Enhance engineering delivery by establishing clear planning, governance, and execution processes across teams.
- Act as a reliable partner to Engineering Managers, alleviating coordination and operational burdens to enable a focus on people and technical leadership.
- Bring clarity to ambiguous projects by converting strategic goals into tangible, executable plans.
- Influence critical moments in engineering operations, from planning sessions to all-hands meetings, improving alignment, transparency, and company culture.
- Facilitate the integration and adoption of AI-enhanced tools and methodologies within the engineering teams, boosting productivity and enabling focus on high-value tasks.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery trade-offs early to support informed decision-making.
