Position Overview

As the Lead Engineering Technician at ASM, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our advanced semiconductor equipment. You will leverage your expert-level diagnostic skills and provide hands-on technical leadership, collaborating with technicians and engineering teams while enhancing customer satisfaction through stable, high-yield manufacturing processes. Your contributions will directly impact product enhancements and the evolution of ASM technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain Level 3 certification through ASM’s Global Training Center.
  • Serve as the senior technical expert for two ASM toolsets across all configurations.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts across platforms by employing in-depth knowledge of integrated systems and tool architecture.
  • Conduct systematic failure-mode analysis to identify limitations and reliability risks.
  • Provide field-driven insights to influence product roadmaps and design improvements.
  • Collaborate with Account Teams, engineering, R&D, EHS, and customer stakeholders on technical and operational needs.
  • Mentor junior technicians, facilitating skill development and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and enforce cleanroom safety strategies in partnership with EHS and Field Service Engineers.
