mpsolutions is searching for a Lead Infrastructure & Platform Engineer for Cloud & ML Serving to join the team in Budapest. This position centers on building and maintaining the core platform that delivers machine learning models in real time to a wide user base. The work supports AI and imaging projects, and offers the opportunity to shape both cloud and serving architecture from the ground up.
Main responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Deploy and scale machine learning models in production environments.
- Develop high-load backend systems, including APIs, inference pipelines, and data processing components.
- Contribute to production server code, not just operational tasks.
- Make platform-level decisions focused on performance, latency, and reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud, platform, or distributed systems roles.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with ML serving, GPU inference, and real-time systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (beyond basic scripting).
- Understanding of scaling, latency, fault tolerance, and observability in production systems.
- Fluency in English.
