This position goes beyond mere management; we seek a hands-on leader who is passionate about modeling environments, executing set dressing, and building levels within the game engine. Your mentorship will be invaluable as you guide the team through practical examples.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Level Designers and the Art Director to uphold visual quality and gameplay clarity.
- Foster the development of our team by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices.
- Create environment assets, including modular pieces, props, terrain elements, and hero assets.
- Engage in set dressing: crafting compositions, storytelling through props, decals, and scene staging.
- Utilize the game engine daily to build and refine level art.
- Ensure technical performance (including LODs, draw calls, and memory usage) while maintaining high visual standards.
- Proactively enhance modular kits with your high-quality models.
- Provide constructive reviews of team members' work.
