Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability, and cost reduction strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

About this role:

In the role of Lead Manufacturing Engineer, the first of its kind at Charge Robotics, you will collaborate with internal teams, such as design engineers, supply chain professionals, and technicians, as well as external partners including manufacturing vendors and customers. Your key responsibility will be to transition our solar farm construction technology from prototype to full production, ultimately contributing to the deployment of gigawatts of clean energy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Spearheading the development and scaling of our cutting-edge robotic systems designed for solar farm assembly in the field.

  • Working closely with design engineers to ensure product manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and ease of assembly.

  • Creating and maintaining essential manufacturing documentation, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

  • Assisting in the qualification of parts and components for production.
