The scope of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:
- Instrument Air Receivers
- Plant Air Receivers
- Air Dryer Vessels (Heatless/Heated)
- Filters and Separators
- Knock-Out Drums
- Pressure Vessels for various packages
- Associated static skids and mechanical packages
Key Roles & Responsibilities
As the Static Equipment Technical Authority, you will:
- Lead static equipment authority on:
- Pressure vessel design
- Mechanical integrity assessments
- Feasibility for offshore installations
Ensure adherence to:
- ADNOC Codes of Practice
- ASME Section VIII
- API 510 / 650 / 620 (as applicable)
- ISO standards for pressure equipment
Provide final technical approval on static equipment design packages.
Oversee Vendor & Package Engineering:
Review and approve:
- Vendor datasheets
- General Arrangement drawings
- Design calculations
- Weight & Center of Gravity data
Validate:
- Design pressure & temperature
- Corrosion allowance
- Materials of construction
- Nozzle orientation and loads
Ensure compliance with OEM requirements:
- ADNOC pressure equipment regulations
- Constraints for offshore transport and lifting
Lead static engineering for Brownfield Equipment Integration and Offshore Feasibility:
- Deck load integration
- Space constraints analysis
- Maintenance access and removal envelopes
Review:
- Laser scan data
- As-built drawings
- Brownfield modification method statements
Support:
- Hot work planning
- SIMOPS integration
Provide support for Mechanical Integrity, Fitness-for-Service & RBI:
- Conduct mechanical integrity reviews
- Perform fitness-for-service assessments
- Evaluate remaining life as required
Collaborate with ADNOC inspection teams on:
- RBI classification
- Inspection planning
- Hydrotest exemption cases (if applicable)
Contribute to Safety Studies (HAZID, HAZOP, ENVID, SIL):
- Provide input on overpressure protection
- PSV sizing and discharge routing
- Vessel isolation philosophy
- Maintenance and access hazards
Ensure safety actions are incorporated into:
- P&IDs
- Layout drawings
- Vendor data
Review lifting, transportation, and offshore installation engineering:
- Lifting plans and rigging studies
- Padeye locations and structural integrity
