The group works to improve how customer queries are interpreted and how results are ranked, with the goal of delivering highly relevant matches. Collaboration and ongoing improvement are central to the team’s approach, as they look for new ways to refine the search experience. The team supports over 40 million customers, giving access to more than 2 billion offers on a platform known for fairness and impartiality in B2C e-commerce. Search response times are kept under 100 milliseconds. The team consists of seven colleagues who value autonomy and trust, each contributing their strengths to solve challenges. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are possible for this role. What you will do Work with Product Management, Engineers, and Analysts in a cross-functional setting to improve the customer experience using data-driven insights. Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities, always considering business impact and customer value. Collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to clarify problem statements and turn business needs into clear analytical questions and hypotheses. Design, run, and interpret experiments such as A/B tests, applying causal inference to guide decisions. Contribute to solution design and assess impact, ensuring insights translate into practical actions. Develop dashboards, define KPIs, and track performance to make progress visible and measurable. Identify where data can add value and highlight areas where more data or improved tracking is needed.
