About the Role
We are excited to offer a position for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer in the transportation technology arena. This pivotal role focuses on elevating software quality through the integration of quality engineering and automation practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will spearhead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive end-to-end test automation strategies, frameworks, and automated test cases. In this role, you will work closely with SDETs, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software.
This position will also involve evolving and scaling automation frameworks and tools while collaborating with a modern tech stack that includes . NET, Visual Studio, MS SQL, MVC, WCF, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and mobile technologies (iOS and Android). Additionally, you will mentor and support QA team members to align testing efforts with our organizational quality objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
Test Automation & Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend systems that support functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Define and implement automation best practices in line with industry standards and compliance mandates.
- Construct and maintain test automation frameworks from the ground up to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Assess and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continually enhance testing practices.
