Collaboration with frontend, product, and business development teams is central to building a scalable, reliable ad platform designed for AI-native environments. What you will do Lead the design and development of ad serving infrastructure, emphasizing high throughput, sub-100ms latency, and reliability at scale. Architect and build backend systems using large language models (LLMs) to enable intelligent workflows for contextual ad placement, creative optimization, real-time brand safety, and dynamic decision-making. Work with the frontend team on campaign management tools, creative generation and optimization, and advertiser-facing features. Design and implement scalable systems for reporting, analytics, and fraud detection to maintain trust and transparency in the ad ecosystem. Set technical direction for cloud-native, distributed systems, balancing cost, latency, availability, and AI inference efficiency. Mentor and grow the engineering team by providing technical guidance, conducting code and design reviews, and supporting recruitment. Collaborate with Product, Ads Engineering, and Business Development to turn business requirements into production-ready systems. Shape the technical roadmap, focusing on GenAI integration, prompt-based advertising, and performance in AI-driven settings. Location This role is based in Bellevue, WA.
