Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the technical vision of DeepWalk’s automated sidewalk inspection platform. This pivotal role will focus on solving complex, large-scale challenges related to imagery processing, production ML systems, and robust data pipelines that manage hundreds of terabytes of data.
You will significantly influence how we process, analyze, and derive insights from millions of images, aiding cities in their pursuit of safer and more accessible infrastructure.
In this position, you will collaborate with a team of seasoned engineers, guiding the technical direction and establishing scalable practices for the team.
Our technology stack centers around Python-based CV/ML systems hosted on AWS, complemented by data pipelines and services engineered to accommodate vast amounts of imagery and geospatial data. We also create and maintain user-friendly web and mobile applications that allow our clients to scan and visualize their data.
