Reporting directly to the Technology Director, you will be the key technical strategist in the pre-sales process, bridging our commercial aspirations with the engineering realities.
This role emphasizes strategic planning and solution definition, while also requiring you to remain engaged with the coding aspects. You will establish the solution framework and maintain technical oversight throughout the initial build phase, ensuring that your vision is realized and providing crucial guidance to the delivery team.
The ideal candidate is likely an ex-developer who has transitioned into a strategic role yet possesses a solid understanding of coding principles and is adept at quickly learning new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Technical Strategy: Collaborate with the commercial team to present complex digital solutions. Act as a trusted technical advisor, clearly articulating how we can address client challenges without overwhelming them with technical jargon.
Architect for Impact: Develop high-level solution definitions and specifications. You will create the blueprint, ensuring its technical feasibility and commercial viability, while maintaining governance as projects commence to support the development team in their success.
Connect the Ecosystem: Design architectures that seamlessly integrate CMS/DXP platforms with the broader MarTech ecosystem. While you need not be familiar with every tool available, your understanding of integration patterns and API structures will enable you to create effective data flows between CDPs, Marketing Automation systems, and Analytics platforms.
