Qualifications
Develop and implement Databricks' financial services industry strategy — Collaborate with GTM leaders to create and curate high-quality, industry-specific assets (POVs, demos, reference architectures, customer references, evaluation templates, implementation plans) that demonstrate Databrick’s value across key use cases in segments such as Capital Markets, Insurance, Banking, Payments, Professional Services, Alternative Investments, FinTech, and Data Providers. Establish asset quality standards — Define criteria for excellence in industry-specific assets and prioritize asset creation based on strategic importance. Drive collaborative GTM strategies — Work with Global System Integrators (GSIs), Regional System Integrators (RSIs), and data partners to co-create assets, align partner solutions to Databricks’ industry-specific POVs, and identify suitable partners for specific implementations. Engage with strategic financial services clients — Directly interact with customer technical and business leadership, offering guidance on how Databricks can address their most pressing challenges.

The position centers on strengthening Databricks' presence in financial services by shaping industry perspectives and serving as the main technical voice for sector-specific messaging and content.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical authority for financial services messaging and tailored materials.
- Develop and share points of view that resonate with both technical and business leaders in client organizations, building trust and credibility.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate Databricks' value in financial services use cases.
- Collaborate with account teams to support growth and technical excellence in assigned financial services verticals.
- Work with product engineering to align industry requirements with Databricks solutions.
- Contribute to internal content strategy and partner with external organizations on joint go-to-market initiatives.
Reporting Structure
This is a high-visibility individual contributor role reporting directly to the Financial Services Tech General Manager at Databricks.
