About the Role (Your Purpose)
Join our Learning and Organisational Development team at Datacom, where we are dedicated to empowering our people to thrive, learn, and perform at their best. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be instrumental in developing engaging and impactful learning content that enhances skills, encourages continuous learning, and boosts organizational performance. You will work closely with the Manager – ANZ Learning and Organisational Development, along with a diverse team, to design and deliver contemporary learning resources that help employees succeed, ensure safety, and flourish in their roles.
Please note this is a 6-month fixed term opportunity.

Your Responsibilities
In the role of Learning Experience Designer, you will focus on:
• Designing and developing multimedia learning content such as e-learning courses, videos, animations, infographics, and interactive elements.
• Utilizing instructional design principles to craft effective, engaging, and objective-driven learning experiences.
• Overseeing multiple learning projects concurrently to deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
• Promoting learning and development initiatives throughout the organization.
• Conducting user testing and utilizing feedback to enhance learning materials continuously.
• Keeping abreast of emerging trends and technologies in multimedia design and e-learning.
• Actively participating in ongoing improvement and innovation efforts.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities per Datacom policies.
Your Qualifications
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in corporate training and learning design.
- Practical experience in e-learning design, video production, and content curation.
- Familiarity with learning systems and LMS administration.
- Proficiency in multimedia software and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Suite).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, or a related field.
