Demonstrated experience in instructional design and proficiency with educational technology. 2-3 years of experience in instructor-led training within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors (preferred). Strong understanding of learning and development methodologies, including formal design approaches, adult learning principles, and industry technologies for deploying and monitoring training for diverse audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including strong presentation skills and a talent for public speaking. Capability to foster cross-departmental relationships and build collaborative partnerships. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Overview:

The Learning Specialist will be instrumental in organizing and facilitating comprehensive training programs designed to empower and motivate employees with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their roles. This role involves collaboration across various departments to assess and address learning needs effectively using diverse adult-learning strategies. Each Learning Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert in their designated area, responding to the evolving requirements of the organization.

  • Develop and implement onboarding and upskilling programs, alongside other learning and development initiatives tailored to the organization’s changing needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Patient Services managers, field management, and Marketing) to identify and create effective training solutions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and instructional analyses to ensure uniformity in training content and delivery across the organization.
  • Utilize adult learning theories and best practices to optimize training effectiveness, incorporating methods such as virtual instructor-led sessions, e-learning, self-directed study, social media tools, video resources, and conference calls.
  • Continuously explore and recommend innovative training methodologies and processes to enhance the efficiency of training development.
  • Work closely with the Instructional Design team to create engaging online training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance and training completion, providing reports on employee progress during and post-training periods while ensuring training logs are current.
