Position Overview

As a Licensed Civil Engineer at Olsson, you will play a key role in delivering multidisciplinary design services for diverse projects, including mixed-use developments, commercial and residential sites, municipal projects, and more. Your expertise will guide land development initiatives from inception through to completion.

In this role, you will conduct engineering assessments, manage project tasks, facilitate design calculations, and develop project scopes and timelines. Field visits for site observation will also be a part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute engineering tasks related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for a variety of projects.
  • Assist in preparing essential project documentation and maintain familiarity with project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Conduct design calculations and analyze reports to prepare cost estimates and assess project feasibility.
  • Utilize your knowledge of engineering techniques and methodologies to coordinate design elements effectively.
  • Maintain communication regarding project advancements with project managers and clients.
  • Input and update project data and client information within the firm’s project management system.
  • Assess and suggest modifications to established methods and procedures as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various terrains and weather conditions at project sites.
