Approximately 30% of this role will involve coordinating workflows within a designated practice area and mentoring paralegals and legal assistants.This full-time position will be based in our Washington, D.C. office. The annual salary range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000 based on experience, along with a year-end discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits. Please note that this position is not on the Partner track.Essential Functions:Assist the Chief of Litigation Services in coordinating and assigning litigation support tasks to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring high-quality and timely task completion.Mentor, train, and provide substantive advice to legal support staff, enhancing their litigation skills, procedural knowledge, and overall performance.Manage and support all litigation phases from an operational and procedural perspective, including pleadings, motion practices, discovery, trial preparations, and appellate procedures.Facilitate trial and hearing preparations by supervising pretrial filings, managing trial transcripts, and organizing trial exhibits.Aid in drafting, reviewing, preparing, filing, and organizing pleadings, briefs, appeals, and other legal documents using Microsoft Word, CM/ECF, and related systems.Conduct legal and factual research utilizing Westlaw and other resources to support attorneys and litigation teams.
