Key Responsibilities:Sales Team ManagementLead and motivate the inside sales team to achieve performance goals and accountability. Implement pricing guidelines and approval processes in collaboration with national sales and operations leadership. Ensure compliance with company operational protocols. Provide support and guidance by resolving inquiries and managing escalated issues. Guarantee timely follow-up on outstanding quotes and sales opportunities. Hold team members accountable for their performance, recognizing successes and identifying areas for growth. Foster a culture of efficient time management within the sales team. Sales Operations ManagementAct as the local expert on the ERP system, focusing on sales, inventory, and accounting functions. Conduct weekly reviews of open sales orders to identify unfulfilled orders and missed billing opportunities. Track open purchase orders and address overdue items. Oversee pick, pack, and ship processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage and approve departmental expenditures. Collaborate with accounting to align processes and ensure accurate adjustments. Warehouse & Operations OversightWork with operations staff to maintain and balance inventory levels effectively. Ensure precise inventory management through cycle counts and reconciliation processes. Direct local purchasing efforts and coordinate with national purchasing teams. Establish and nurture strong vendor relationships.
