Hazmat Endorsement: Preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire; assistance available). TWIC Card: Preferred (or must be obtained post-hire). Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience. Age: At least 23 years old. Driving Record: Clean MVR and a strong safety record are essential. Health Requirements: Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check. Work Ethic: Dependable, safety-oriented, and capable of independent work. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including availability for 24/7 operations if necessary.

Main responsibilities

  • Safe transportation: Move chemical and petroleum loads while following DOT and Hazmat regulations.
  • Equipment maintenance: Keep your truck in good condition and ready for inspections.
  • Loading and unloading: Adhere to all procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or tanker operations at both pickup and delivery sites.
  • Compliance and documentation: Maintain accurate logs and submit all required paperwork.
  • Customer service: Represent Altom Transport professionally at every customer location.
  • Business management: Oversee fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
  • Meet assigned workload requirements and contribute to overall operations.
  • Remain available for 24/7 operations when needed.
