Role overview
The Logistics and Office Administrator oversees logistics operations and office administration in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This position handles shipping, receiving, and the timely delivery of materials, while also managing administrative tasks and supporting daily office procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
Main responsibilities
- Send and receive purchase orders, confirm customer sales orders, and work toward weekly and monthly performance targets.
- Process purchase orders with vendors promptly to meet established goals.
- Coordinate with DLA, Government Security Department, and vendors for applications such as Base Pass requests and import or tariff documents.
- Prepare reports for supervisors or department managers and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with company meetings and events.
- Provide customer service by answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Oversee express mail services, including pick-up and delivery for FedEx and UPS.
- Coordinate submission of timesheets, expense reports, and petty cash reports for staff.
- Sort and distribute company mail.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in logistics or office administration, with experience in expediting. Relevant military experience or training is considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct business professionally.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Native-level proficiency in Korean (reading, writing, speaking).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset focused on accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
