About the Role
As a Machine Learning Scientist at Appier, you will play a crucial role in advancing our research initiatives, focusing on real-world applications of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Employ machine learning and analytical techniques to create predictive models for advertising and enterprise solutions.
- Analyze and extract actionable insights from extensive business data sets.
- Design, develop, and validate advanced models to predict consumer behavior.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to implement real-time models and develop new features.
- Create efficient, scalable, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation.
- Research and evaluate innovative machine learning and statistical models.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Statistics with knowledge of probabilistic models.
- Strong experience in system design and programming, capable of working with big data with minimal engineering support.
- 3+ years of experience in data mining, algorithms, statistical analysis, computational NLP, and/or machine learning.
- Proven track record of solving complex challenges in academia and industry.
- Extensive publication portfolio.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks in a rapidly growing environment.
- Possess meta-cognitive skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to think and communicate with clarity and precision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional presentation skills to convey product ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
