In this position, you will collaborate on essential machine learning systems, guided by experienced engineers. This opportunity is tailored for individuals who are passionate about building and eager to enhance their skills by deploying real ML systems in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance machine learning components related to data processing, training, evaluation, and inference.
Refine and adjust models as integral parts of expansive production systems.
Conduct evaluations and testing to analyze model performance and behavior.
Assist in creating and managing data pipelines for both real-world and synthetic datasets.
Troubleshoot model issues, performance concerns, and production incidents.
Implement iterative improvements and incorporate feedback from actual users.
Collaborate closely with senior machine learning engineers and product teams.
Operate under real-world production constraints, including latency, cost, reliability, and safety.
Technical Expertise Required
Proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with PyTorch or JAX.
Familiarity with production ML systems running on GPU architectures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Solid understanding of machine learning principles and contemporary neural network architectures.
Some hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, or deploying machine learning models.
Ability to write production-quality code and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
Curious, receptive to coaching, and eager to learn from practical applications in production.
Capable of navigating ambiguity with guidance and progressively taking on more responsibility.
Demonstrates a commitment to delivering, iterating, and pursuing continuous improvement.
