Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required; technical or vocational schooling is a plus.• 3 to 5 years of experience in Brazing Processes or similar roles.• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word).• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with others.• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, machines, and technologies.• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.• Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods (up to 8 hours).• Good hand dexterity and the capacity to follow instructions accurately.• Ability to read and interpret orders and lift up to 40 lbs.• Adept in mathematical skills relevant to a machining environment.• Competent in reading product prints and ensuring product conformity.• Experience using measuring devices and setting up machines with basic hand tools.• Capable of identifying and troubleshooting common machine problems.• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

About the job

Join our dynamic team at Bosch Group as a Machine Operator - Specialist III in Brazing on the 3rd shift. You will play a pivotal role in the startup and implementation of a cutting-edge Brazing operation for our new production line at the Lincolnton, NC facility. This exciting position requires you to gain firsthand experience with the brazing process, as well as support the development of local work instructions and standards.
During the startup phase, you will engage in extensive overseas training, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Collaboration is key; you will actively communicate with cross-functional departments including Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality to ensure seamless operations.
You will be responsible for training and monitoring new production associates, providing timely and constructive feedback as necessary.
Your duties will include loading/unloading, operating, adjusting, changing over, and maintaining multiple machines, as well as conducting 5S practices and troubleshooting issues. You will be expected to meet daily production targets and report any deviations promptly.
