Primary Responsibilities:As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities include:Demonstrating care for our residents by effectively resolving service tickets and performing preventative maintenance. Addressing maintenance issues related to HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliance repair. Preparing vacant apartments for new residents through thorough repairs and enhancements. Maintaining the aesthetic appeal and safety of our community through general upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance. Delivering exceptional customer service to residents. Being available for weekend or evening work and on-call for after-hours emergencies. What You Bring to Us:Experience in building maintenance or a background in the trades. Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair, ranging from beginner to intermediate levels. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency situations at the property. The physical ability to exert between 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force consistently. Reliable personal transportation for commuting to work and responding to on-call emergencies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A polished professional appearance. Basic computer skills and comfort with various software applications and programs. A service-minded attitude and dedication to providing outstanding support.
