Your Role
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service through timely responses and quality maintenance of our physical assets. Reporting to the maintenance supervisor or lead technician, you will engage in various maintenance activities, ensuring that our community standards are met through your basic trade skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on residential properties and grounds, covering plumbing, electrical work, appliance repairs, carpentry, masonry, or building construction.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing maintenance requests and maintaining a tidy workspace within residents’ homes.
- Ensure timely completion of all make-ready and turnover work, troubleshooting issues in accordance with established timelines.
- Execute all tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety standards and reporting any potential hazards.
- Utilize safety guidelines for tools and equipment, demonstrating operational knowledge regularly.
- Accurately complete documentation such as work orders and timesheets as per policy guidelines.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all preventative maintenance tasks, ongoing repairs, and potential hazards are addressed promptly.
- Contribute to maintaining community aesthetics through regular cleaning and upkeep of common areas.
