Education:Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, or a related field. Equivalent experience, military training, or vocational education may be considered. Experience:A minimum of 3 years’ experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, or electromechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or field service environment is preferred. Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience as a manufacturing equipment or field technician. Strong knowledge of PLCs, sensors, VFDs, motors, and control systems. Familiarity with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Able to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation. Soft Skills:Strong troubleshooting and logical reasoning abilities.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of production and shop equipment within our manufacturing environment. You will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, contributing to our preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain production and shop equipment in optimal condition under the guidance of the Equipment Maintenance Manager.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
  • Conduct scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Document all repairs, parts usage, and PM activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or similar software.
  • Install, align, and calibrate mechanical and electrical components as necessary.
  • Utilize precision tools such as calipers, multimeters, and alignment devices for diagnostic tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional tasks as assigned.
