The Maintenance Technician at Peak-Made plays a key part in the daily upkeep and improvement of an apartment community in Madison, Wisconsin. Main responsibilities
- Respond quickly and thoroughly to service requests and repair needs.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with inventory management for tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain high standards of customer service for residents and guests.
- Follow personnel policies and keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Communicate clearly with residents, team members, vendors, and supervisors.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to manage budgets and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
- Help manage the property's hazard communications program.
- Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features to reduce liability risks.
- Ensure all safety and hazard communication policies are followed.
- Support the maintenance team in keeping the property's curb appeal high.
- Assist residents during move-in and move-out as needed.
- Help schedule and complete maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep accurate records and help maintain office and shared spaces.
- Help care for the exterior of the property, including grounds and common areas.
- Maintain the swimming pool and keep chemical logs current.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs.
- Take on other duties as assigned by supervisors.
