In the Health & Life Sciences (HLS) division, we focus on facilitating the responsible adoption of AI technologies within pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, medical device manufacturers, contract research organizations (CROs), and healthcare systems. Our efforts span clinical, scientific, regulatory, and operational domains, driving significant outcomes while adhering to the highest standards of safety, privacy, and compliance.
About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Manager of AI Deployment Engineering to spearhead our Healthcare & Life Sciences initiatives. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a high-performing team of deployment engineers tasked with guiding HLS organizations from experimentation to full-scale production using OpenAI technologies.
This role demands both strategic insight and technical expertise, as you will engage with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of secure, compliant, and impactful AI deployments. A robust technical background, leadership experience, and a profound understanding of the complexities inherent in regulated healthcare and life sciences environments are essential.
This position is based in Seattle. We operate under a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the strategy and operational framework of the HLS AI Deployment Engineering team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and customer needs.
- Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-impact team of AI Deployment Engineers specializing in HLS production implementations.
- Implement operational standards and best practices tailored to regulated environments.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence, customer-centricity, and responsible AI deployment.
- Facilitate successful enterprise deployments and manage the comprehensive implementation of generative AI applications across healthcare and life sciences organizations.
