About the job
About Helion Energy
Helion Energy is at the forefront of the fusion power revolution, headquartered in Everett, WA. Our goal is to construct the world's pioneering fusion power plant, which will provide an endless supply of clean electricity. We envision a future where energy is not only clean but also reliable and affordable for all.
Since our inception in 2013, we have successfully raised over $1 billion from both seasoned investors like Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group, as well as newer partners including SoftBank and Lightspeed. Our latest prototype, Trenta, has impressively executed 10,000 high-power pulses, achieving plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). Currently, we are advancing with Polaris, our next prototype, as we move closer to realizing the first fusion power plant in history.
This is a crucial moment to join Helion Energy. You'll face tangible challenges alongside a team that values urgency, precision, accountability, and a commitment to truth—qualities essential for achieving unprecedented milestones. Together, we will revolutionize the energy landscape because the world cannot afford to wait.
