Job Summary:
As the Manager of Workplace Enterprise Applications, you will be instrumental in managing the stability, governance, and ongoing development of OpenGov’s core workplace application platforms. This role guarantees that our internal tools are not only reliable and scalable but also thoroughly documented.
Located in Pune, India, you will collaborate closely with our Operations and Enterprise Systems leadership teams based in the United States. Effective cross-regional communication and collaboration, alongside the ability to navigate time zone differences, are essential for success in this position.
This position is a player-coach role, requiring hands-on administrative experience with workplace systems, coupled with the capability to lead a small team and establish frameworks that ensure the long-term stability of our platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the configuration, governance, and lifecycle management of OpenGov’s workplace application platforms, including systems related to collaboration, productivity, and identity management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for application-level IAM configuration and access workflows within the designated systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of workplace application administrators, setting high standards for quality, documentation, and operational consistency.
- Maintain a hands-on approach with core systems as necessary, particularly during periods of growth, transition, or the introduction of new capabilities.
- Define and enforce configuration standards and guidelines to guarantee reliability, security, and scalability across our platforms.
- Collaborate closely with US-based leaders in Enterprise Systems, Operations, and Engineering to ensure alignment with global standards and priorities.
