Familiarity with hand tools and testing equipment for maintenance and repair operations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with exceptional customer service aptitude. Demonstrated ability to work independently, showcasing resourcefulness and initiative. Comprehensive understanding of equipment manufacturers’ specifications. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and performing bending tasks as necessary. Availability to work nights, weekends, and be on-call as required. Basic computer hardware and software knowledge is essential. Prior experience with third-party UPS service providers is advantageous. OEM factory training or experience with brands such as Emerson/Liebert/Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider, or Eaton/Powerware/PDI is mandatory. A technical degree (e.g., from DeVry, Lincoln Tech) is a plus.
