Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler

Position Summary:
C. E. Precision Assemblies, part of the Trexon Company, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Assembler to join our team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling intricate wire harnesses and mechanical components. You will interpret technical drawings, utilize both manual and automated tools, and adhere to industry and internal standards. This position demands hands-on involvement, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool Use & Skill Development
- Master and apply effective assembly tools and techniques.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
- Utilize hand and automatic crimping tools.
- Install boots, markers, Expando, sleeving, and wrap-around markers.
- Measure wire lengths with calipers, scales, and tape measures.
- Operate heat guns correctly for shrink applications.
- Perform soldering with both traditional and resistive soldering tools.
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills, accuracy, and efficiency.
Assembly Work
- Construct wire harnesses and mechanical assemblies as per specifications.
- Crimp, strip, and handle various wires and components using hand tools.
- Adhere to all drawing requirements and work instructions.
- Maintain compliance with workmanship standards (IPC-620, J-STD-001, TE.04-03—training provided if necessary).
- Thoroughly document work in production travelers.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in soldering.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring devices.
- A strong willingness to learn specialized techniques through training.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
