Qualifications

Proficient in equipment installation testing and employee training for the Powder Coating process. Skilled in developing recipes tailored to material types, thicknesses, and color combinations. Knowledgeable in managing pH levels of degreasing/discharge water in accordance with OSHA/EPA standards. Capable of creating annual EPA reports for discharge water in collaboration with the Safety department. Experience working with the Safety department to conduct risk assessments for Powder Coating equipment, processes, and personnel. Adept at managing preventive maintenance programs and critical spare parts necessary for the uninterrupted operation of equipment. Ability to optimize the powder coating line based on production demands through a continuous improvement approach. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or any ERP systems integrated with powder coating equipment is a plus. Expert in developing, evaluating, and enhancing manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold quality standards. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support new product introductions through process design, prototyping, and validation. Conduct time studies, workflow assessments, and capacity planning for production line optimization. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, and provide technical support to production teams. Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies.
