ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Manufacturing team at Anduril is eager to welcome a Manufacturing Engineer focused on Electronic Warfare. The EW Manufacturing Team specializes in the rapid development and production of cutting-edge defense hardware for Electromagnetic Warfare. This role encompasses the entire manufacturing value chain, including Design for Manufacturability initiatives, tool selection and design, process creation and optimization, vendor sourcing and collaboration, quality assurance planning, and comprehensive documentation related to the hardware managed by the Manufacturing Engineer. As a Manufacturing Engineer in EW, you will spearhead process enhancements, uphold production quality standards, and facilitate the introduction of new products. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing manufacturing processes, lowering costs, enhancing efficiency, and scaling operations for full production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Oversee aspects of the manufacturing value chain, including Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) for electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Drive operational excellence with a strong focus on continuous improvement and lead impactful Kaizen events.
  • Collaborate effectively with Product Quality Engineering to support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives addressing critical issues in EW Production.
  • Partner with Design Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure Design for Excellence (DFx) and seamless New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Create process flows, breaking down intricate assemblies into logical sequences of subassemblies and processes.
  • Develop necessary documentation to ensure successful large-scale manufacturing of hardware.
