About the job
About Rocket Lab
Rocket Lab Ltd. is a space technology company focused on launch services, spacecraft design, manufacturing, and satellite components. The team builds rockets and satellites that support scientific research, Earth observation, national security, and technology demonstrations around the world.
Electron, Rocket Lab’s small launch vehicle, has become the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket each year, delivering more than 230 satellites to orbit. The company is also developing Neutron, a medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle for larger constellation deployments. Rocket Lab’s Space Systems division designs and manufactures satellites, payloads, and components, including spacecraft for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and instruments for the James Webb Space Telescope.
Space Systems at Rocket Lab
The Space Systems team manages the full lifecycle of satellites and their components. This includes building complete spacecraft for lunar and Martian missions, as well as subsystems like solar panels, flight software, reaction wheels, star trackers, separation systems, and radios. Engineers, technicians, and designers work together to deliver satellites and components for commercial, government, and defense customers.
