Expertise in communicating design for excellence (DFx) principles and implementing them across manufacturing areas.

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team responsible for optimizing manufacturing capacity and throughput, developing factory layouts, and refining processes to adhere to design, regulatory, and business standards, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. You will oversee the manufacturing output of a diverse range of products, including mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/avionics assemblies.

Your role will involve guiding hiring initiatives, managing manufacturing layouts, maintaining equipment, and enhancing manufacturing workflows. Collaboration with engineering teams on design for excellence (DFx) will be crucial, as will workforce development, production scheduling, risk management, and performance monitoring to achieve production goals. You will set the operational standards for your team and play a key role in transitioning the organization from startup to a structured manufacturing environment.
