Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for robotic mobility and control components. Set up and support operations for machining, assembly, harness builds, and testing in line with established process documentation. Provide hands-on production floor support, addressing issues related to tool wear, misalignment, surface finishes, assembly variability, and more. Conduct testing on harness assemblies to validate high-current and sensitive signal circuits. Maintain fixtures, harness boards, automated cells, and testing stations ensuring their operational readiness. Assist with the implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs) and validate revisions through first article inspections. Analyze production and test data to support SPC, yield tracking, and quality initiatives. Engage in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions. Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp activities, documenting insights gained. Identify and propose opportunities for improvements in cycle time, workflow efficiency, and overall safety. Act as a technical resource for operators and production technicians. Qualifications:Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, machining, or wire harness production environments. Proven troubleshooting skills in mechanical and/or electrical production issues. Ability to interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and build documentation. Experience with inspections, in-process verification, and production testing. Understanding of crimping and related assembly processes.

Your contributions will span across mechanical and electrical assemblies, collaborating closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure that our builds are reliable, scalable, and of the highest quality. This position encompasses various functions including machining, assembly, automation, and wire harness production, thereby supporting both new product introductions and full-rate production.
