By innovating manufacturing processes, we ensure the utmost safety, reliability, and quality of every surgical implant.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Robot Manufacturing Intern will play a vital role in the production and scaling of Neuralink's advanced surgical robotic systems. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, precision-driven manufacturing environment, emphasizing process development, efficiency improvement, and quality assurance for critical surgical hardware.

  • Manufacturing Process Support: Assist in the assembly, testing, and documentation of robotic components and systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to existing manufacturing workflows to boost throughput, minimize errors, and improve product quality.
  • Documentation and Control: Aid in developing and maintaining comprehensive manufacturing work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to uphold compliance with quality standards.
  • Tooling and Fixture Design: Contribute to the design and fabrication of jigs, fixtures, and production aids to optimize assembly and inspection processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process quality checks and engage in failure analysis and root cause investigations for non-conforming materials or devices.
  • Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and report on manufacturing data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making.
