About the job

  • In this role, you will explore the scientific foundations and real-world impacts of temperature testing on populated circuit boards (PCBs) during the manufacturing process.
  • You will uncover hidden correlations between our testing parameters and potential failure mechanisms, and quantify these precisely.
  • Your analysis will encompass the current state of research, identify research gaps, and aid us in aligning our testing strategies with customer requirements.
  • Additionally, you will create a comprehensive scientific thesis and a concise white paper summarizing your findings, positioning them within the current research discourse, and deriving specific conclusions and recommendations for our industrial applications.
  • Finally, you will discuss and illuminate the subtle yet crucial differences between verification/validation tests and our production tests, establishing a clear and informed understanding within the team.
