Role OverviewAs a vital member of our team, the Commissioning Supervisor will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and oversee all commissioning activities at the job site. You will be responsible for planning the daily workflow, guiding your crew, and ensuring that construction projects are executed on schedule and within budget. Additionally, you will manage the submission of crew timesheets and foster the growth of junior technologists through mentoring and education in areas such as reading blueprints, risk management, and industry best practices related to commissioning. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with project specifications, safety, quality standards, and budget constraints during all commissioning activities.Submit daily timesheets for your crew without delay.Act as the primary liaison between the organization and the client’s site team.Lead by example to promote adherence to the company's safety policies and procedures. Document and report any injuries, complete the Notice of Injury/Accident Report, and communicate with the Safety Manager.Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the effective use of resources, including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment, to meet project timelines.Uphold the quality of workmanship in line with design documents.Encourage a culture of safety among the crew, ensuring they are knowledgeable about company safety protocols.Provide mentorship in the commissioning process of various substation equipment, including Protection & Control and SCADA devices.Work alongside the project management team, procurement, engineering, and clients to successfully complete diverse projects.Assist with internal and external audit and inspection activities.
