Role Overview
This role encompasses a variety of tasks tailored to each project, including:
- Creating complex mathematics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations;
- Validating calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Refining AI reasoning to meet industry-standard logical frameworks;
- Implementing structured scoring criteria for multi-step mathematical problems.
Candidate Profile
This position is ideal for mathematicians with Python experience who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates should possess:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field, such as Algebra, Calculus, or Number Theory;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mathematics;
- Proficiency in English at a strong written level (C1/C2);
- Advanced Python skills for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience with international or applied projects will be advantageous.

Project Commitment
For this role, tasks are projected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, contingent on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
- Paid contributions, with rates up to $55/hour*
- Compensation may include fixed project rates or individual rates based on project specifications;
- Some projects may offer incentive payments.
*Note: Rates are subject to variation based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project requirements, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for highly specialized professionals.
